Duty Allocation
   

Duties are allocated according to set criteria:
  • The frequency of your past duties.
  • The time since your last duty.
  • The required role.
  • Whether or not you are a new member.
  • Your preferences. Some days can be excluded from the allocation. These are recorded in your profile - see below
  • There may be medical reasons to drop duties for an indefinite period.
To change a Duty that has already been allocated in the published roster, you need to swap a duty in the 'Dutyman' system.

Prior to the next Roster publication however, you can select certain days that you would prefer not to be allocated Duty. These are called Exclusions. They may, for example, be associated with regular work or family commitments.

You can select Saturday, Sunday or Neither as an Exclusion and up to 6 of the 12 months of the year.

You can also select 'injured' if you are out of action indefinitely. Note that you are still required to do the same duties and that the more time that is excluded, the closer your duties will occur.
